Invisalign Attachment Replacement and Aligner Care in Seoul for Visitors

Lost an attachment, cracked an aligner, or need a scan before your next set? If you started Invisalign or another clear aligner treatment abroad and are in Seoul for a short stay, orthodontist Dr. Sally Chaekyung Lee can see you, often on the same day, and keep your treatment on track without changing your own orthodontist's plan.

Your plan stays with your orthodontist

You are in the middle of treatment, and you have a schedule to keep. We see visiting patients for a quick, focused visit: we fix what needs fixing so you can move on to your next aligner on time, and we do not restart or redesign your treatment.

What we can help with

Attachment replacement

Attachments are the small tooth-colored bumps that help your aligners grip and move your teeth. If one falls off, the aligner cannot do its job on that tooth. Dr. Lee re-bonds it to fit the aligner you are wearing now.

New attachments for your next stage

Some treatment plans add new attachments partway through. If your next aligners need them, bring the attachment template from your orthodontist and Dr. Lee will place them for you.

Lost or broken aligners

Depending on where you are in treatment, the safest option may be to wear your previous or next aligner for a while. Dr. Lee checks the fit and tells you which one to wear until replacements arrive.

Progress or refinement scans

If your orthodontist needs a new scan to order your next aligners or refinements, we take a digital intraoral scan you can pass on to them.

Attachment removal

When your treatment is finished, Dr. Lee removes the attachments and polishes your teeth.

Fees and timing

  • Attachment care: KRW 400,000, once. This covers attachment care at our clinic for the rest of your treatment, including replacing attachments that come off, placing new attachments your next stages need, and removing all attachments and polishing your teeth at the end.
  • Same-day appointments: usually available. Message us in the morning for the best chance of a same-day slot.
  • Visit length: about 30 minutes for most attachment visits
  • Other services: Dr. Lee tells you the fee before any other treatment starts
  • Payment and documents: card payment, English receipts and itemized statements for overseas insurance claims

We are open Monday and Thursday until 9 PM, Tuesday and Friday until 7 PM, and Saturday until 2 PM. We are closed on Wednesdays, Sundays and Korean public holidays.

What to bring

  • The aligners you are wearing now, plus your next set if you have it
  • Which aligner number you are on, or a screenshot of your treatment plan if you can access it
  • Your orthodontist's name and contact details
  • Your passport

Do you need an attachment template? Not if an attachment simply fell off. Your current aligner is enough for Dr. Lee to rebuild it. You only need a template if your next aligners call for new attachments you have not had before, so ask your orthodontist for it before you travel.

A set of clear aligners

How it works

  • 1. Send a message. Tell us on WhatsApp what happened and when you can come in. A photo helps if you have one.
  • 2. We confirm a time. Often the same day, and always before your departure date.
  • 3. Your visit. Dr. Lee checks your aligners and teeth, does what is needed and explains everything in English.
  • 4. Back on track. You leave with your aligners fitting properly, plus an English receipt for your records or insurance.

Questions

Visitor questions

Can you replace Invisalign attachments if I started treatment in another country?

Yes. Dr. Lee re-bonds attachments to fit the aligners you are wearing now, so you can keep following the plan your orthodontist designed.

Do I need an attachment template?

Not to replace an attachment that fell off. Your current aligner is enough to rebuild it in the right shape and position. You do need a template if your next aligners call for new attachments that you have not had before. Your orthodontist can provide it.

How much does attachment care cost?

KRW 400,000, once. It covers attachment care at our clinic for the rest of your treatment: replacing attachments that come off, placing new attachments your next stages need, and removing all attachments and polishing your teeth when treatment ends. We issue English receipts and itemized statements for insurance claims.

Will you change my treatment plan?

No. Your orthodontist remains in charge of your treatment. We follow their plan, and if we notice something they should know about, we tell you.

Can you order replacement aligners for me?

Replacement Invisalign aligners are usually ordered by the doctor who holds your case. We can take a digital scan for you to pass on to your orthodontist. If you are staying longer, we can discuss transferring your case to Dr. Lee.

Do you also see Angel Aligner and other aligner brands?

Yes. Attachment replacement works in a similar way across aligner systems. Tell us which brand you use when you message us.

Message us in English

Tell us what happened, which aligner you are on and when you need to be seen. Dr. Lee will see you herself.
